Ferment is a small team building editing tools that understand media — the beat in a track, the moment in a shot — so that making something good takes minutes, not evenings.

We think AI should feel like an instrument: you play, it responds. The same move, the same result. The taste stays yours.

We're early, and we work like it. Most of what we make starts as an experiment — some ship, some just teach us something and disappear. The ones that survive become Cuts.

Not all of it is AI, either. Inside Cuts, a real AU chain — the same plugins studios use — tunes every track and every voice, out of the box, invisibly. Sometimes the classic way just works.

One thing we don't experiment with: the foundation. We build our own Engine rather than wrapping someone else's, because an instrument should respond exactly the way you expect. Every time.
